As of 10/11/2022, the student union voted for their catering facilities to be 100% plant-based by 2025, and at least 50% plant-based by next academic year. The campaigning continues to ensure the SU follows through with the motion and to encourage the university as a whole to follow suit and transition their catering facilities as well. A plant-based pantry has been set up by campaigners to support struggling students, and collaborations with the debating society and baking society will be happening in the second term.
